Here at the FOT international headquarters, we wouldn’t write about talent if we weren’t constantly scanning the globe (um, filling up our Google Reader) and looking for the best pundits to add to the mix.
Good news – we locked in on two of the best, and JLee and Maren (our compensation committee)
approached them with an offer they couldn’t refuse – the endless buffets at FOT HQ, inclusion in our Twitter group and the spirit of team we get from the 11-hour road trips we take in the bus we bought from the Partridge Family….
And they were in… although we’re still waiting for the signed offer letter. Let’s go ahead and announce it to the rest of the world – what could go wrong?
Joining the rest of the characters (we’re like Disney, we don’t call them employees) on the Fistful team moving forward are:
Josh Letourneau – Josh is the owner of LG and Associates, a Strategic Sourcing, Executive Search, and Human Capital Intelligence firm based in Atlanta. Prior to founding LG & Associates, Josh worked as a Sales & Marketing professional in the software biz and was a hard-charging Sergeant in the Marines. In his spare time, Josh contributes to Fast Company.com and mixes it up in an intelligent way at other watering holes like www.recruitingblogs.com. Josh thinks deep, so I’m tabbing his space "the psychology of talent", although as with all FOTers, he can talk about background checks if he so desires…
William Uranga – William is the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at TiVo, where his team is responsible for all staffing strategies, programs, resources and external solution partners for the organization. In addition, William blogs at Talent Alchemy and also teaches in the Certificate Program in Human Resource Management of the University of California Extension in Silicon Valley and spends time with the Recruiting Leadership Forum he helped start. Finally, WU has one of the best twitter streams around, so check him out at http://twitter.com/williamu. I’m tabbing William’s space "talent strategy and recruiting" – strategy sounds upstream, right?
