That’s right… We’re back just like we said we’d be back… The FCC ordered our video equipment
impouded, but we managed to scrape together enough duckets to tape another show. It’s a bootstrap thing, so Pankow had to borrow a camera, Josh is warming it up using a doornob for a background, and JLee bought another camera instead of getting her bangs cut. Good times.
KD, on the other hand, has a noticeable upgrade in background screens. Go figure…
With that backdrop, here’s our next episode of FOTv, our TV show that features the cast at FOT. The format’s pretty simple – we riff on a few topics, and you can’t be all war and peace and stuff. You’ve got a minute to make your point, then you’re out. OR YOU’LL NEVER BE ON THIS TV SHOW AGAIN… (at least that’s what I’m told). The Director makes Lou Pinella look like a tree hugger…
Today, we’re waxing poetic on Best Buy thinking Twitter followers makes sense in a job description, LinkedIn having a high percentage of <wait for it…> RECRUITERS, Sotomayor and the best exits we’ve ever seen from a company….

No question that a reporter needs to generate click throughs and followers. Did the reporter in question get a PiP (performance improvement plan)? Or was it shove them off when they can’t pull their weght? I hope that companies see their side of the equation as giving their employees the tools to win. Hiring costs big time money and firing someone because they don’t know Twitter is a waste of expensive resources.
Have an Opinion!!! Amen to that…Old School HR were followers, New School are leaders connecting talent and the business…
