1. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer Hired a New CMO While Old CMO Was on Vacation. Marisa Mayer called Mollie Spillman, Yahoo's CMO at the time, on vacation to inform her that she was being replaced 10 minutes before the news broke online.
